Le saviez-vous ? 🪵

Après l'usinage, les palettes de bois sont arrosées toutes les 45 minutes pour reproduire les mêmes conditions que celles qu'elles rencontreront à Merpins.

Elles restent ensuite 48 heures à Sambois avant d’être transportées vers Merpins, ...où elles passeront 2 ans au parc à bois.

C’est à ce moment que le processus de maturation commence, un élément clé pour garantir la qualité de nos fûts.

After machining, the wooden pallets are watered every 45 minutes to reproduce the same conditions they will encounter in Merpins.

They are then left for 48 hours in Sambois before being transported to Merpins, where they will spend 2 years in the wood yard.

This is when the maturing process begins, a key element in guaranteeing the quality of our barrels.
